Meet the CHEFMALTA Culinary Team
Gordon Amato - Team Manager
Mr. Gordon Amato
Gordon Amato has been appointed as team manager of team chefmalta, in March 2009, and proved quickly to be a real leader in the newly formed team. After only a few months in this position, Mr. Amato led the junior team to a championship trophy in Romania and recently led the team to a convincing victory in Calabria, in Italy. He also was responsible in coaching and guiding the apprentice team in Italy, who acclaimed the 2nd place in a 9 team challenged event.

Currently Sous Chef at the Westin Dragonara Resort, in Malta, Mr. Amato is undoubtfully a role model in organisation and management, in the culinary trade, and for the team members who form part of the chefmalta team, and those who will join the team for future events. Mr Amato will be heading the Junior Team for the year 2010, with the goal to defend the European Junior champions position. Definately an interesting destination for many chefs who would like to participate in a world level event of such level and prestige.
