| One World Culinary Competition - Kazan - Russia |

Chefmalta in 2008, was invited to participate in the One World Culnary Competition, which took place in the cols state of Kazan, Russia. This event has a particular prestige due, to each continent is represented by one chef, and chefmalta was representing Europe. Such a big responsability and event, needed a lot of preparation, and Mark Briffa, was chosen to represent chefmalta as a competitor, and Director Joseph Vella was chosen to form part of the Judging Panel.
Every participant had to prepare, cook and present a 3 course meal for four persons, from a mystery basket of unknown, typical Kazan products. chefmalta, thanks to Chef Mark Briffa, was awarded the second place in this prestigious Mondial Culinary Event.
